Airport running

Why is it that I'm always running through the airport when I'm trying to catch my flight? Thank goodness there was no traffic on the freeway this morning. I live 55 miles from LAX. I left at 10am for my 12noon flight to Boston. With all the profanities that were coming out of my mouth to zip by all the slow drivers, I need to wash my mouth out with soap!  I am now 10 minutes early at my gate for my flight. Whew! Now, I hope the flight isn't full so that I can have a comfortable 6 hour flight.

Boston bound

Another business trip! R and I got back from our romantic San Francisco weekend last weekend and we are already right back to work, traveling. R is up in Oregon and I'm headed to Boston for 4 days for another business trip. I can't wait for us to get back home and hop in bed! At least Labor Day 3 day weekend is almost here.

At least I'll have some good lobster while in Boston... maybe.

I didn't leave my heart in San Francisco

I'm in San Francisco this week for work. Since I'm stuck in the conference all day I've only been able to actually go out in the evenings. Boy oh boy, it is SO cold. I miss the warm socal weather. I should have packed a parka!

Last night, R and I decided to catch a movie at the Metreon down the street from our hotel. It was a nice date night, but I think I would rather have stayed in at our hotel and ordered room service because of the cold.

We will head up to Sonoma for wine tasting this weekend and hopefully it will be sunny. And I'll try NOT to get sauced this time.

Here's my view from my hotel. Oh, we got upgraded to the 36th floor corner room! SCORE! Even though it is cold, I have to admit that San Francisco is a beautiful city.

Wedding Bonanza

So R and I didn't go to the Saturday wedding as twinsies. :(  but we had a good time nevertheless. I drank a little too much champaign it looks like. Cuz I was hugging the toilet at the tail end of the night. Woops!

But by the time it was all over, I was back sober again. So we drove home together and continued the party at home. Ha ha.

R put up some pictures on the wall that I had bought and had laying around. Then we took a shower together then into the bed we hopped with the lights dim, Pandora playing Peter Gabriel and Sting, and ready to make love all night.

We stayed up almost the whole night, getting close and wrapped in our connection with each other. Each time he looked into my eyes, it felt as if he was looking into my core being of who I am. And we were enveloped in each other's body and soul. Its hard to describe exactly how it felt each time he touched me or looked at me, except that I felt that we were one. Corny, yes.

Twinsies

So, hunnybuns and I are going to a wedding on Saturday together. As I was getting dressed, I asked him,

"hey Hun, do you want to try to match? It will be cute, no? C'mon, we'll be like a team, like those Asian couples who wear matching pink polo shirts with their collars standing up."

No response....

"C'mon, babe, it'll be fun. We'll be TWINSIES" Wink wink. "Pleeeeease?"

No response....

and finally, he said, "Hunny, no. How about you wear whatever you want, and I'll wear whatever I want. There. It's settled. "

He's so mean. :(  but I love him anyways.

So Hot Hot Hot!

It is so. Hot. Hot. Hot. I'm  afraid to go outside. I cannot believe its like a sauna outside. Its a good thing I'm going up to San Francisco next week to enjoy some cooler temperatures. My trip is a business trip but R is coming with me to keep me company during the evenings and lunch. Yeah!
