Soulmates can do wonders for your health!

Wednesday, July 29, 2009

Oh my gosh, it's almost the end of the month! I have been neglecting blogging this month! I shall get back on the horse though.

Hunnybuns and I have been talking about starting a business together. That's not too soon, right? and it's a great idea? I think he and I could make a great team. He can be the face of the company, and I'll just run around in the back-end. Is going into business with your partner a good idea or a bad one? I've been hearing both sides. would love some more input...

I'm sitting here in bed, watching my Hunnybuns sleep next to me. I feel high from the happiness I feel when he's with me. I never thought this kind of happiness existed or ever imagined I would feel this. I thank God everyday that I was able to find this in life during my short stay on earth. Isn't it funny how after you've found love, you find yourself more motivated to succeed in other parts of your life? It's uncanny how that person inspires you to be a better person, to better your career, to try to go as far as you can go in life. I guess that's what soulmates can do for you. Thus, my excuse for being a bad blogger for the last couple weeks. I've been feeling great - mind, body, and spirit. And feeling more motivated than ever to start my own business. Wait, did I just gush again about my Hunnybuns? Sorry, I'll try to keep the mushiness toned down a bit. =\

Random Thoughts - Wine, Hunnybuns, Peter Cetera, Candles?

Tuesday, July 21, 2009

So... I'm sittin' in bed, listening to Peter Cetera on the radio, and on my 3rd glass of red wine. That's right, my THIRD glass.... A REAL alcoholic here. ha, right... me. Ooof... I feel a little tipsy right now. Good thing I'm already in bed! I'm gonna probably pass out any minute now since I'm such a lightweight!) PETER CETERA~ remember him? "I'm addicted to you babe, you're a HAAARD habit to break~~" I'm without my hunnybuns tonight. Darn it. :-\ it's so weird, I don't know what to do with myself with no one here today. I guess I am addicted and should find a hobby of some kind to fill my time when he isn't around to keep me company and poke fun of.

I feel compelled to blog since I haven't blogged for several days now. I've been very busy with my freelance work. I was in my procrastinating modes and started rummaging through my closet to see what I could throw out. Not much. But I did find my 10 boxes of candles from when I used to work for a candle company. And these aren't small boxes. They're the large moving box kind. TEN boxes! It's been sittin' in my closet for the last 5 years. Man, I'd collected so many from the sample sales. I should really give these away or burn them or somethin'. Suggestions? Maybe I should give them to my followers? Wait, they'll make great xmas gifts! Maybe I'll give them away for the holidays to my followers?

Oh yea, one more thing. So the secret is to go on VERY SHORT bike rides to get more action in the bedroom. At least, that seems to be the key in my case for now. I went on a VERY SHORT bike ride with Hunnybuns on Sunday. A VERY VERY SHORT one. Hunnybuns was following me the whole time instead of me drafting him. Every time I looked back, he had a mischievous grin on his face. Needless to say, we didn't leave the house for the rest of the day. Even ordered delivery....

Happiness is bliss. I hope it never ends.

Sore Hunnybuns

Wednesday, July 15, 2009

So, I tested out my theory this weekend. It was an amazing weekend, by the way. Each weekend we spend together seems to get better and better. When I think it can't top the last, there it goes. Anyways, I digress. Back to my theory. So from my last post, I decided to test out the bike theory. I convinced Hunnybun to go road biking with me this weekend for an easy 30 miles. Man, he looked so good in his tight shorts that I couldn't concentrate on the road. Yes, I should have taken a picture, and NO, I FORGOT MY CAMERA! I was following him and drafting, of course, getting a nice view of the buns. It was pretty fun to ride together. His legs are so much longer than mine that he needed to wait up for me a few times, but I didn't care as long as he didn't mind it. As we were on our home stretch, I thought, "MAN, I can't wait to climb all over him!" So we finally got home, he and I both threw our bikes in the middle of the garage and ran straight for the bedroom. Sweat, stink, and all. We started getting hot and heavy and uhhhhh.... D'OH! one problem.... we both had bums that were so sore that we couldn't really "get into it!" It was like there was a permanent bruise "down there" that I couldn't get around it. UGH! DARN those saddle sores!!! So, the experiment was a complete failure.

For those tempted to try, I'd recommend going for only a short bike ride. =\ Maybe 10 miles. Then rush back home quick! unless you're used to riding longer distances to avoid those bruised bums. =\

I'll try again in a few weeks and let you know how that one goes. HAHA!

Hunnybuns

Saturday, July 4, 2009

Happy 4th of July! So... I just got back home from watching the fireworks with my Hunnybuns - my nickname for him when it's just the 2 of us. He would flip if anyone else heard me call him that - he's too "manly" to be called Hunnybuns by anybody, he says. Anybody except me of course. Hahaha.

So in my blog stalking, I came across a post that said that running with your hunny could improve the "bedroom activities". So my next mission is to get my Hunnybuns to come with me on my next road bike ride. Not that we're having any problems in the bedroom department at all. Let's make that clear. =) It's just that I can't get enough of him! Maybe it's my age? Women's sex drive is supposed to improve as we get older right? We reach our peak in our mid-30s? Bingo.

Hunnybuns used to ride his mountain bike religiously a few years ago, but ever since he found surfing, combined with some knee and back problems, he hasn't been on his bike for years. But the good sign is that he started getting back on the trainer at home last week. So couple more weeks and I'm gonna see if he will come out to ride with me. I can't wait to see if it works. We'd ride our bikes for a quick 20 miles, come back home all hot and bothered, and go straight to the bedroom. But one question: aren't we going to come back all sweaty and stinky? Maybe we should go straight to the shower instead of the bedroom to deal with the stinkiness of the sweat from the bike ride? =P

He'll always be my Hunnybuns.... shhh...

Love Is Like a Drug

Friday, July 3, 2009

Love is precious. We all have people that we love - friends, family, our dogs, cats, etc... But finding that special someone who is your soulmate is rare. Just imagine - there are billions of people in this world. What are the odds of finding that soulmate in your lifetime? Pretty slim, I think. Many people spend their lives looking for that love, eventually settling for something they believe is what they were looking for, but find that later, it wasn't it. I feel truly blessed to found that kind of love. How do I know he's the right one? I denno. I just know. For those who are in love with their soulmates, you know what I mean. You just "know".

I'm in my 30s and have fallen in love for the first time just last year. I now know the difference between true love and... well, everything else. Intense infatuation, I guess. And being in love has given me a new perspective on giving. I want to give as much of myself as I can to him, and for him. I want to give him all of me. And most of all, I'm willing to give up anything and everything for him. And that will never change as long as I live. This, I'll never let go.

Wow, I've totally gushed again. I hope and wish for everyone that I know to get a chance to experience what I feel for Ryan in their lifetime. There's nothing else like it. It's literally like a drug, I think. I just can't get enough of it! Stephanie Meyers describes it perfectly in her book, Twilight. (I can't wait to see the 2nd movie, New Moon, btw! I've already read the entire book series twice... ha!)
