Quick getaway

Hunnybuns and I decided to take an impromptu trip up the coast to big sur this weekend and make a 3 day weekend out of it. (I still have to figure out our anniversary plans next weekend btw!) what a romantic trip it was. We took the 101 north in our convertible with our surfboards JUST IN CASE we saw some good surf along the way, and and extra change of clothing and our swimsuits and off we went! Nothing compares to driving up the coast with the top down and warm air blowing our hair around. Wait, nevermind. I take that back. There are better things like making love on an empty beach on a warm summer night. But nothing beats spending time with my hunny bunny. We stopped at the seashell inn along the coast in Cambria. It was owned by a nice Korean couple who offered us some kimchee when we checked in. Haha. Unfortunately, we had to pass as my hunny bunny cannot stand the smell. We were tourists in town and spent Saturday at Hearst castle, took loads of pictures, and actually took a horse riding tour. I'll never ride a horse again (ugh I think my ass is still numb from that ride). He took me to a romantic restaurant for a candlelight dinner for 2 by the water. We closed the restaurant down once again as we sat in our corner and talked about how we met and flirted with the idea of getting married. This was the first time that he ever brought up the topic and was actually serious and comfortable about talking about it. Maybe I should book us a trip to Vegas next week,....lol. I've often seen us in my dreams getting married. I'm in a simple white long gown and he's in a tuxedo with the biggest grin I've ever seen on his face. Its a bright sunny day, and we're outside on a cliff next to the beach with just a few of our friends around us and our good friend marrying us. Afterwards, we all go to a Korean buffet dinner for everyone in koreatown to eat our hearts out, then get on a plane to Maui for our honeymoon. We took a long walk on the beach, walking hand in hand, under the full moon, after which we made love all night long and got lost within each other.
The next day, we slept in and woke up just before noon to go out for brunch. We decided to stay lazy on Sunday and spent the day at the beach, surfing, napping, and eating. He even went antique shopping with me - which is huge since he doesn't like shopping.
Oh, isn't love grand?

Kiss the cook

Monday, April 22, 2013

Honeybuns cooked some kickass chicken for us tonight. He's such a great cook. Not sure if he actually likes cooking but he usually cooks since I don't get home until after he does. He probably prefers it that way since my cooking is not so good. Hey, so I never learned my way in the kitchen. When I got home, he had a romantic candlelight dinner table set for us. He put on some music and dim the lighting and we sat next to each other, touching knees and legs, catching up on what we did today, and ate dinner. It's been almost 5 years since we met already. Time flies when you're with the love of your life and having oh so much fun. I want to do something special for him but not sure what yet. It won't be cooking, that's for sure. He would never admit that he doesn't like my cooking but I won't put him through the agony. He loves spontaneity so I neeeed to come up with something that would surprise him, special and hot. I ordered $200 worth of lingerie last night, some black patent leathet 6" stiletto heels, and some fishnet stockings. I hope they fit! And that he likes it. Maybe I will book a room at the Biltmore or Terranea resort or somewhere supernice for a romantic getaway. I just have to be sure that his work schedule is clear for a 3 day weekeend. I'm so excited!

Stockings anyone?

Thursday, April 18, 2013

Oh, its another windy day today. This is a shot of my view out of the window of my office. Last night, honeybuns surprised me with a naughty lingerie outfit for me to try on. As soon as I put it on with my patent leather 5 inch heels, he got an instant "reaction". Ha ha ha. I didn't know that "reaction" could materialize so fast! Black sheer lacy number with garter and stockings. Almost like a body stocking but now. He loves stockings for some reason. I personally think it's too hot to wear (temperarure wise) but since I got such a positive "reaction" out of him, I will definitely be wearing it for him again. Gee, I should have worn these sooner! My next outfit will involve a raincoat. Shhhhhh....

My hips don't lie

Hunnybuns and I were relaxing at home last week and were watching The Voice. I thought the show was entertaining. But hunnybuns made fun of each performance and critiques from every judge. I guess he didn't like it? I really enjoyed it, so he left the show on but I think he was doing it for me. Sweet of him. But i really love Shakira as the judge. Anyways, We watched Avatar again together and I imagined us flying on the birds (ikran?) together like Jake and Atiri. Sometimes when he and I are together, I feel like we are in our own world and that I'm like Atiri and he is like Jake. I teach him about the country I grew up in and I appreciate how he tries to learn but stumble through some of it when he and I are out to dinner together with my parents. Its kinda funny actually. But he probably doesn't think so. I love you hunnybuns. I love you to the moon and back. And my hips definitely don't lie about that.

Makin' Love Out of Nothing At All

Friday, April 12, 2013

Makin' Love~~~out of nothin' at all, makin' love~! You know the song? Yes it's HOKEY. But when you're in love, it's so hard not to love it. Honeybuns and I hadn't spent an entire weekend together in a while because of our hectic work schedules. Either he's busy, or I'm busy, or we're both busy! So this time, we made sure to CLEAR OUT our schedule and take a weekend getaway to SAN-TA BARBARA. WOOHOO!! I love that place. It could be romantic, it could be exciting, it could be relaxing, or just plain ole fun. And this weekend did not disappoint. We decided to meet at the Biltmore in Santa barbara. He told me the room number so I drove as fast as I could straight from the airport (back from business trip!). When I walked into the room, he was finishing up some work at the desk. He looks so hot when he's looking so serious. He came over to me and slipped me a soft kiss on my lips and embraced me tight. He then slipped his hand under my shirt and started stroking my back. (HOT!) He surprised me with a bowl of strawberries, champagne and a foot massage~! That was a first and I loved it. I guess he missed me. :) He would never admit it to me though, but I know what he's thinking. With romance in the air, he put on some music, we fed each other strawberries, ordered some room service and danced the night away - in bed. Because we had been away from each other so long, we were intensely hungry for each other. I think we kept the neighbors up all night - woops... SORRY neighbors!! We spent the next morning in bed, making love again upon waking up, then had some brunch. We decided to go for a short bike ride where I admired his cute tush all the way up and down the coast, then Thai restaurant for dinner. He usually gets the same thing - PAD THAI! Which drives me nuts because that's the only thing that he gets. But this time, he got the yellow curry! WHUT? I was proud of him for going outside his comfort zone for food, and eagerly looked forward to another unforgettable night that evening. And again, it did not disappoint. When we got back to our room, there was a trail of pink and red rose petals on the floor that led to our bed which was covered with pink and red rose petals. There were also maybe 20-30 candles lit all over the room, and Air Supply in the background singing "Making Love Out of Nothing At All". It was so sweet that I almost cried. You have to understand that honeybuns usually don't go to this much planning to do this, so it meant so much to me that he had gone through all this trouble to make this a perfect night. We made love (I think we both lost weight. ha ha!), ate some food, giggled like crazy, and made love again. All night. Sigh... I didn't want the night to end. You know the type of night of utter happiness where you don't want to go to sleep no matter how tired you are because you don't want "that" feeling to end? That was my night on Sunday.

Fries oh fries

Wednesday, April 3, 2013

Hunny buns and I decided to go for a long bike ride with a group of cyclists that we used to ride with.  Since I am always the slow one, I brought up the rear as usual. During our ride through Simi Valley, we stopped at a mcdonald's for a water stop. I wanted fries so badly! But since I need to watch my girlish figure, I refrained. But boy oh boy, all the guys started to order mcdonald's breakfast meals!!! Say what...?? The guys gobbled up their hamburgers whilr I drooled watching them. They apparently weren't watching their weight. Not fair I tell you!
